Jackson Hinkle
Amid the Palestine-Israel conflict, commentator Jackson Hinkle has received a lot of attention. He has gained millions of followers, many of whom are Muslims and Arabs, happy to see a Westerner supporting the plight of Palestinians. What his new followers may not realize is that Jackson Hinkle is a Uyghur genocide denier.
The international community, human rights organizations, and a multitude of witness testimonies provide substantial evidence of the grave human rights violations against Uyghur Muslims in occupied East Turkistan (Xinjiang). Reports of mass detentions, forced labor, cultural erasure, and surveillance state tactics paint a harrowing picture that many have labeled a genocide. Jackson Hinkle consistently denies the plight of the Uyghur Muslims as seen here:

Weaponizing the Palestinian conflict to dismiss another humanitarian crisis is both morally reprehensible and strategically flawed. The Palestinian people, who have been suffering from Zionist occupation since 1948, deserve unwavering advocacy, not to be used as pawns in a broader geopolitical narrative from a Marxist-Leninist like Hinkle. Their struggle should not be exploited to deflect from other issues; rather, both conflicts should be given their due attention to highlight the injustices from Sino and Western colonialism. Hinkle’s approach pits the suffering of one group against another. It creates a false dichotomy where one must choose which group to empathize with instead of supporting both – this is a common tactic of CCP agents. Gaza and East Turkistan are both part of the same battle against occupation and colonialism.
