Abla Memet

Name: Abla Memet 

Abla Memet was a founder of Ablajan Alnazar Naan bakery shop. He owned 6 naan shops with his two brothers. Zohre Muhemmed, his sister, confirmed that Abla Memet was detained because of accusations that he had a relative who was supposedly a “separatist” (someone that wanted Uyghurs to live freely). This was corroborated by journalists at Radio Free Asia.

This demonstrates that the CCP is detaining people not only for having dissenting viewpoints of their own – but even being related to somebody that may harbor an idea about Uyghurs living independently of China.
